The mobile OptiSense LED-R Gun allows for fast, reliable, and non-contact determination of coating thicknesses, even with challenging coatings and unique material properties.
Thanks to a larger measurement field compared to laser sensors, surface irregularities are compensated for, resulting in more consistent measurement readings. Infrared technology is particularly well-suited for specialized powder and wet-paint coatings, as well as for applications where the properties of the substrate or the coating impose specific requirements. Furthermore, the use of LED-R technology may be necessary when dealing with black surfaces.
