Laser Line & Angle – Precise coating thickness measurement for automated coating processes
OptiSense laser line and angle sensors enable precise, non-contact coating thickness measurement for powder and wet-paint coatings, as well as for surfaces that have already been cured.
Thanks to its small measurement spot, individual measurement points can be captured precisely. The high spatial resolution is particularly well-suited for measurements on corners, edges, and complex component geometries. The higher energy density of the laser technology is automatically managed by the measurement system.
For automated system integration: For automated system integration: The sensors can be directly integrated into industrial control systems via a PLC interface. The standard connection is via PROFINET; customer-specific interface adaptations are possible. An integrated safety loop supports integration into the plant environment.
The sensors are available in four versions:
- Line LP: 35 mm measuring distance, 0.3 mm measuring spot.
- Line HP: 100 mm measuring distance, 0.5 mm measuring spot.
- Angle LP: 35 mm measuring distance, 0.3 mm measuring spot, with a lower overall height compared to the line version.
- Angle HP: 100 mm measuring distance, 0.5 mm measuring spot, with a lower overall height compared to the line version.
